Color Use

Hello guys this is a new  blog entry, I'll talk about the color scheme used in the 

film's opening sequence. We had to go back to the color wheel and color 

theory when thinking about the colors we used. When we were filming, we 

opted to use two primary colors. Because black and gray are the most 

commonly and regularly used as saddening colors or colors that reflect 

despair, and our film deals with a major character who suffers from 

depression and anxiety, gloomy colors are what bring it out the most.To 

further underline his mindset, we had the main character dress in black and 

gray. This also ties in with the main character's accessories, which included his 

black school bag and black headphones, which he donned to set himself out 

from the rest of the crowd. Because no other colors would match the 

atmosphere of our project, our film opening, these were actually the only 

primary and recurrent colors we used.
