Main Character analysis

Explanation of main character: describe their physical characteristics, costuming, and props associated with them. Describe who they are in terms of their personality and communication style. Explain their mental state, their motivations, psychological state, etc.

The main character of our film opener would be Joel, he is a very skinny and scrawny boy who likes to wear dark colors like black and grey. He has his headphones on all the time to remove himself from the word because music is his only escape from reality. 

He is a very anxious and complicated guy because feels so sad and depressed after moving so many times throughout his childhood due to his parent's job. He is portrayed to be a very introverted person, most people around his age would outcast him because he comes off as a weirdo and mute. Because he moves around so much he never really made any friends for more than a month which is the main reason behind why he's grown to become someone who doesn't know how to communicate to others correctly.

Joel's character in the short film has a very messed up mental state, he always looks upset and is easily angered by little things. To his parents his actions just correlate to him being a teenager so they think he is just going through puberty but in reality he is suffering from a lot of phycological issues, in the film will will be able to see how careless towards everything around him, from his messy room and dirty clothes from his room. As he goes to school his motivation is to just hoping that no one will come up to bother or communicate with him, he hates being in school because theres way too many people and he feels out of his own comfort zone.
